Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucifer Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz comes to the ring accompanied by This Is War. Jones has chosen Weapon of Choice as his entrance music. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Lucifer Jones was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Nick Diaz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Lucifer Jones! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Atkins and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Diaz. Diaz looks to score with a jab to the body but Jones is just out of range. Diaz throws a body punch but Jones moves out of range. Diaz shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jones sprawls well. Jones wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Diaz gets slowly back to his feet. Diaz throws a hook to the side of Jones's head but Jones sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Jones with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Diaz to score with a decent uppercut. Diaz throws a jab when Jones was well out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Diaz wants to clinch. Some bone on bone action there as Diaz checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Diaz throws a series of punches but Jones avoids them all with ease. Diaz with a nice cross. Diaz cracks Jones with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes. Diaz tries to clinch up but Jones circles away and keeps his distance. Diaz tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jones was well out of range. Poor timing from Diaz. Jones changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Diaz swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Jones. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Diaz misses with an uppercut. Jones saw that one coming. Decent striking displayed by Diaz there.

and Jones counters with a good, hard body kick but Diaz shrugs it off. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Diaz checks a leg kick. Diaz throws a body kick that misses. Diaz checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Lucifer Jones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Diaz throws a quick inside leg kick. Diaz throws a half hearted mid kick. Jones uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Diaz.

and Diaz counters with a three punch combo that has Jones backing up. Jones nods at Diaz to acknowledge the strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Diaz fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Jones thumps Diaz with a low kick. A shot to de liver by Diaz. Beautiful body shot. Jones misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jones displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Diaz throws out the jab. Diaz swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Diaz misses with a combination
and Jones counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Jones misses with a few strikes there.

That's five minutes gone in the round. Jones ducks under a wild hook from Diaz. Some wild striking there from Jones.
Diaz smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Diaz scores with a jab. Jones acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Diaz is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Jones lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Diaz thuds his right hand into Jones's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Diaz misses with a double jab.

Diaz motions for Jones to come forward. Diaz throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Jones misses with a double jab
and Diaz counters with a nice uppercut. A punch combination from Jones misses. Diaz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jones manages to avoid it. Diaz swings for the body but Jones moves out of range.
Diaz throws out a powerful jab. Diaz wants to clinch up but Jones keeps it at a distance. Nice cross by Jones.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Diaz throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jones stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Diaz scores with a shot to the body.
Jones drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Jones gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Diaz. Diaz lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Diaz throws a combination that misses and Jones counters with a two punch combo. Diaz catches Jones with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Diaz swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Jones counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Diaz throws a combination that misses enabling Jones to counter with a crisp jab. Diaz shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jones sprawls well. Jones wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Diaz gets slowly back to his feet. That's eight minutes gone in the round. A big right from Jones misses. Diaz lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Jones will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jones has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Jones bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Good shot there by Diaz. Jones needs to keep his hands up - Diaz had a free shot at his head there. Diaz tries a head kick but it misses.
Diaz looks to throw the jab but Jones is out of range. Diaz with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Diaz doesn't manage to clinch there - Jones circles away.
Diaz closes the distance and lands a one-two. The fighters circling - Jones throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Diaz tries to bum rush Jones with a series of wild strikes but Jones uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Diaz, right into the meat.

Jones moves away from the strike by Diaz. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jones ducks right into an uppercut from Diaz. Diaz misses with a wild body shot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nick Diaz dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Jones leaves Diaz with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Jones lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Diaz circles away quickly and effectively. Nice uppercut lands for Jones. That snapped Diaz's head back.
Diaz throws a right and a left that Jones avoids nicely. Jones throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Jones takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Diaz shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jones as he jumps to the side. Jab, jab by Diaz - just one landing. Diaz throws a sloppy body shot
and Jones counters with a nice uppercut. Diaz tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jones was well out of range. Poor timing from Diaz.

Diaz throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Jones just misses with a punch to the body.

Jones moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Diaz throws a hook but Jones avoids it easily. A jab from Diaz misses. Diaz closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jones to the mat! Jones manages to get full guard. Diaz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard. Diaz trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom. Diaz prevents Jones from getting back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Jones working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Diaz. Diaz working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Jones's head. Diaz wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Jones takes a shot right to the bread basket. A big left from Diaz misses. Diaz shoots in but Jones avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nick Diaz. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jones misses with a jab, cross combination.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Diaz throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

letting Jones counter with a right hand. Diaz connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Jones's hands. Diaz looks to land a combination but Jones avoids it well.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Jones checks a low kick from Diaz. The fighters circle momentarily. Diaz darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Nick Diaz is winning the standup battle so far. Jones pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Jones misses with a series of wild punches.

and Jones connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Jones moves out of range as Diaz throws a body kick.
Diaz with a jab. Diaz takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Diaz shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jones's guard. Diaz thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Jones controlling Diaz's posture. Jones looking for a sweep. Not yet Jones, not yet.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Jones is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Diaz drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jones manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Diaz has Jones in his guard. Diaz is looking for a triangle but Jones pushes his legs off easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jones wants to stand but Diaz has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Jones wants to control from the top but Diaz keeps moving. Diaz is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Jones tries to stand but Diaz is controlling from the bottom. Diaz pushes a forearm under Jones's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Jones is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
