Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Timothy Mcdonald (ranked 25060 p4p, 25424 weight class) and Ed Swirly (ranked 540 p4p, 523 weight class). Swirly comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The sound of goats screaming kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Chris Edwards and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcdonald on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Swirly. Swirly obviously looking to wear him down.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Mcdonald.
Mcdonald has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Mcdonald there as he acknowledges the shot.
It looks like Timothy Mcdonald has been cut.
Swirly finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Swirly just misses with a punch to the body.
Mcdonald on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Mcdonald checks the leg kick nicely there.
Swirly fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mcdonald.
Swirly lands with a hook. Mcdonald tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Swirly walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Mcdonald checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
A jab from Swirly finds it's way through Mcdonald's defenses.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mcdonald is looking to clinch.
Swirly throws a big shot that misses.
Mcdonald changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Mcdonald slips a jab from Swirly.
Mcdonald misses with a takedown attempt - Swirly sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Mcdonald fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Swirly lands the left hand.
Swirly has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Swirly stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Timothy Mcdonald. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Mcdonald shoots in and drives through. Swirly sprawls well.
Swirly stuns Mcdonald with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Mcdonald is breathing heavily.
Swirly lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Swirly lands a big uppercut and Mcdonald crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Mcdonald looks OK. Swirly waves Mcdonald back to his feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Swirly throws an uppercut from hell that sends Mcdonald clean off his feet! He's out cold! Swirly stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
