Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jordyn Conley (ranked 3502 p4p, 4692 weight class) and Mateo Delgado (ranked 352 p4p, 414 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 5 - 1, fighting out of London, Jordyn Conley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mateo Delgado! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Andrew Berry and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Delgado tries to score a power double leg takedown but Conley sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Delgado somewhat. Conley tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Delgado has his takedown stuffed and Delgado takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Delgado shoots for a double leg takedown but Conley sprawls well. He's pushed Delgado's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Jordyn Conley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mateo Delgado. Delgado fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Conley to the ground. Delgado is now in Conley's guard. Delgado trying to control but Conley is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Delgado drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Delgado jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Delgado is fighting to break Conley's control of his arms but Conley is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Conley has a closed guard, preventing Delgado from standing up. Conley wants to sweep here but Delgado controlling him for the moment. Conley keeping moving, preventing Delgado from controlling successfully. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Conley knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Delgado on the ground. Delgado is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Conley on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Conley tries to get out of the position. Delgado postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Delgado trying to control the position from guard on top but Conley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Delgado closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Delgado lands in his opponent's guard. Delgado trying to control but Conley is working from the bottom. Delgado is stalling in the full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Delgado is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Delgado stops Conley from standing up. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Delgado trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Conley drops Delgado with a beautiful combination! Delgado stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Conley is looking for the KO!
It looks like Mateo Delgado has been cut. Delgado dives in and grabs Conley's left leg, looking for a takedown. Conley pushes down on Delgado's head and hops out. Delgado shoots and misses and Conley counters with a crisp right hand that drops Delgado! Conley lets Delgado back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Delgado is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! No luck with that takedown attempt from Delgado. Conley looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit. Delgado is still on wobbly legs! Can Conley finish him? Delgado looks winded! The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Delgado checks a leg kick. Delgado tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Delgado seems to have recovered his senses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Conley throws a leg kick and Delgado counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Conley! Conley struggling a bit here. Conley looking for a sweep but Delgado has passed into full mount! Oh no! Delgado dominating with strikes here. Delgado has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Conley is forced to tap!
