Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Thomas Holmes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Matthew Hudson!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Andrew Berry and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Holmes.
Holmes staying out of range there.
Holmes slips a jab from Hudson.
Holmes ducks under a wild hook from Hudson.

Thomas Holmes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Holmes moves out of range of the strikes.

Hudson throws a lazy right hand but Holmes sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Hudson lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Holmes backwards.

Holmes is trying to force a seperation but Hudson has the dominant position.

A short body shot lands from Hudson as the two fighters clinch.

Hudson lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Hudson keeps control of Holmes as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Holmes wants to break the clinch but can't.
Holmes pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Hudson moves into the clinch successfully.
Hudson keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Holmes's efforts to push away.
Holmes wants to break free but Hudson has control.
Hudson throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Holmes wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Hudson lands a nice uppercut.
Hudson presses Holmes against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Hudson.
Holmes is trying to push Hudson away but Hudson has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Hudson scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Hudson is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Holmes wants to get back to striking at distance but Hudson won't allow it.
Hudson lands a left hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hudson lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Holmes backwards.

Holmes's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Oh Holmes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hudson cracks Holmes with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Hudson cracks Holmes with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Hudson has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Holmes to stand back up!
Hudson thuds a left hand into Holmes's body.
Hudson sends Holmes crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Hudson is motioning to the referee to let Holmes up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
and Hudson counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Holmes! He's just covering up as Hudson starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Matthew Hudson!
