Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Frederico Mora (ranked 3247 p4p, 2839 weight class) and Brenden Hickman (ranked 266 p4p, 236 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Frederico Mora! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Brenden Hickman! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Daniel Bishop and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Mora, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hickman should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Mora connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Hickman drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Mora throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Hickman postures up.
Hickman passes Mora's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Hickman looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hickman prevents Mora from improving his position. Hickman wants to control but Mora is keeping him busy. Hickman wants to pass the guard but Mora is defending well. Hickman seems to be looking for submissions.
Mora looking for submissions off his back. Hickman is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Mora defends it well. Mora looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Hickman seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Mora looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Mora has a hand on Hickman's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Hickman takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! A nice elbow there by Hickman. Mora manages to regain half guard. Good work. Hickman is looking for a kimura here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mora is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hickman pulls his head out easily. Hickman is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Mora defends it well. Mora looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Hickman is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Mora regains half guard. Mora regains full guard. Nicely done.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mora working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Hickman has passed into half guard!
Hickman is working for a kimura but Mora is defending it quite comfortably.
Hickman works his foot free and advances to mount. Hickman wants to take Mora's back but he can't do it this time. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hickman prevents Mora from getting the reversal. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Brenden Hickman dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Mora misses the shot to the body. Mora throws a jab when Hickman was well out of range. Mora misses with a body punch
enabling Hickman to counter with a crisp jab. Hickman has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Mora finds it's way round the side to connect with Hickman's head. Mora stuffs the takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hickman tries for a takedown but Mora circles away easily and Mora connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hickman avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hickman has his takedown stuffed letting Mora counter with a right hand. Frederico Mora has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brenden Hickman. Mora cracks Hickman with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Hickman avoids the body shot from Mora.
Hickman throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mora was covering up waiting for the punch and Hickman finishes the takedown easily into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mora isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Hickman stacks Mora on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Hickman! Mora is trying to improve his position. You can see the frustration on Mora's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Hickman has an Americana. Mora didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Hickman is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Hickman hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
