Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Xavier Dayton (ranked 2026 p4p, 1976 weight class) and Martin Nejc (ranked 219 p4p, 215 weight class). Dayton comes to the cage accompanied by Da Rockwilder. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Martin Nejc enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Xavier Dayton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Martin Nejc!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Albert Achterberg and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nejc connects with a right hand. Dayton shakes it off.
Dayton lands with a slapping head kick.
Dayton throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
It seemed like Nejc was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Sloppy strikes from Dayton. Those never looked like landing.
Nejc throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
The fighters circling - Dayton throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Nejc fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Nejc's coach down at California Top Team was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Nejc's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Nejc misses with a series of wild punches.
We've been told by Dayton's head coaches at Wolfpack Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Nejc throws a hook but Dayton blocks it.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Dayton, as that shot connected.
Nejc is rocked!
Dayton looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Dayton backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Nejc's temple! It sends Nejc violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Dayton celebrates and the doctors try to help Nejc!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Xavier Dayton!
After winning the bout, Xavier Dayton thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
