Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kim Jung Bin (ranked 2728 p4p, 2816 weight class) and Donnie Jones (ranked 217 p4p, 223 weight class). Donnie Jones is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kim Jung Bin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Donnie Jones! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Valeri Chadov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Jung Bin has closed the distance and engaged Jones in a clinch.
Jones is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Jung Bin gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Jung Bin wants the takedown. Jones is fighting it off but Jung Bin persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Jones's guard against the cage. Jones looking to control.
Jung Bin stays in close to Jones's body and controls the position. Jung Bin lands a couple of elbows. Jung Bin looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Jung Bin lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jung Bin content to stall in guard here. Jung Bin's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. That's three minutes gone in the round. Jung Bin is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Jones wants to sweep but no luck. Jones is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jung Bin defends well. Jung Bin looking to pass the guard. Jung Bin is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Jung Bin is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jones's half guard. Jones has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jung Bin is working away from the top position though. Jung Bin is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. We've been hearing that Jung Bin has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Jung Bin has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Jung Bin got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jones has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jung Bin has managed to get both his arms back between Jones's legs - danger averted. Jung Bin looking to control the position here, rather than advance. That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Jones is fighting to break Jung Bin's control of his arms but Jung Bin is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Further stalling from Jung Bin. If it seems like I'm not saying a lot, it's just because Jung Bin is stinking the place up with his stalling.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jones goes for a double leg but Jung Bin avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Jung Bin continues to drive forward. Kim Jung Bin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Donnie Jones. Jones misses with an uppercut. Jung Bin saw that one coming. Nice sprawl there from Jung Bin as Jones shoots in. Jung Bin takes the fight into the clinch. Jones tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Jung Bin smiles and moves away.

Jones is fighting to break Jung Bin's control of his arms but Jung Bin is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Jung Bin utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
