Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Thomas Babcock (ranked 547 p4p, 533 weight class) and Omari Morales (ranked 68 p4p, 64 weight class). Babcock's entrance music is 70. A fine choice. Omari Morales will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 27 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jesse Thomas Babcock! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 16 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Omari Morales! The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Winston Howard and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Babcock ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Morales misses with a two punch combination.

We've been hearing reports that Babcock has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Morales throws a hook to the side of Babcock's head but Babcock sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Morales throws a right hand that misses

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Babcock is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Babcock gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Babcock gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Babcock apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Morales wants to control but Babcock is keeping busy and won't allow it. Babcock is pressing down on Morales's thigh, looking to free his foot. Morales is holding on for now. Babcock frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Babcock lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Morales hang on? Babcock landing shots from mount. Babcock can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Morales is looking to escape. BOOM! Babcock connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Babcock pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Morales wants to hold on but Babcock pushes him away. Babcock landing strikes from the mount. Oooooh, big shot lands for Babcock! Morales is hurt baaadly! Babcock is firing away with more strikes - Morales is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
