Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mickey Dismantle (ranked 891 p4p, 2514 weight class) and Jaxon Williams (ranked 85 p4p, 203 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dismantle might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Come As You Are. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 31 - 18 - 2, fighting out of London, Mickey Dismantle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 16 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jaxon Williams! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams with a poor takedown and Dismantle counters with a right hand to the body. Dismantle getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Williams moves forwards but Dismantle connects with a nice, crisp jab. Williams uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dismantle. Dismantle looks to land a right hand but Williams moved out of range. The fighters circling - Dismantle throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Williams tries to clinch up. It looked like Dismantle wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Dismantle is looking to land body kicks. Williams misses with a takedown and Dismantle counters with a straight right hand. Williams shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Dismantle's guard. Williams stands up and waves to Dismantle to follow him. Dismantle throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dismantle tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Williams paws at him with a jab and circles away. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Williams shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dismantle defends it nicely. Dismantle is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Mickey Dismantle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jaxon Williams. Williams scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dismantle is looking for a sweep. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dismantle on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dismantle tries to get out of the position. Williams stands up. Williams slips under a jab from Dismantle. Nice takedown defense from Dismantle. No joy for Williams on that attempt. Williams fails with the takedown. Dismantle is looking to counter punch. Williams uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dismantle. Dismantle definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Williams shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Dismantle is trying to defend but Williams finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Dismantle is trying to escape back to his feet but Williams uses the scramble to pass into side control.

Williams tries for a takedown but Dismantle circles away easily and Dismantle counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Williams bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Dismantle tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Williams controlling from the full mount. It looks like Williams might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Williams's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Williams is standing up, even though he is in mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A swing and a miss from Dismantle. Dismantle digs a good hook to Williams's body.
No luck for Williams with that takedown attempt. Dismantle feinted there with a counter leg kick. Dismantle fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Williams looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Williams shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Dismantle counters with a nice leg kick. Williams on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Dismantle leaves Williams with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Williams shoots in looking for a takedown but Dismantle manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Williams's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Mickey Dismantle is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Williams is defended easily by Dismantle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Williams displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dismantle throws out the jab. Williams walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Dismantle lunges at Williams with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Williams's hand. Williams's corner calls for a 1-2. Williams obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. This has been an exciting period of action! Dismantle looks to throw the jab but Williams is out of range. Dismantle throws a nice inside leg kick. Williams tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dismantle sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Williams somewhat. Williams throws out a loose jab but Dismantle uses good head movement to avoid it. Dismantle appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Dismantle clinches up with Williams and pushes him back against the cage. A left hand lands to the body for Dismantle.

Williams misses with a takedown and Dismantle cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Dismantle throws a leg kick but Williams sees it coming and checks it nicely. Dismantle fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Williams on the side of the head. Williams fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dismantle avoids it really well and circles away. Mickey Dismantle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jaxon Williams. Dismantle throws a low kick but it's checked well by Williams. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Williams takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Williams stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Dismantle. Williams thows a left - swing and a miss! Williams throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dismantle's waist but Dismantle gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Williams off to one side. Dismantle ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Horrible takedown attempt by Williams or perhaps it was just good defense by Dismantle, which made it look bad. Williams is breathing heavily. Williams with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Dismantle to score with a decent uppercut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Williams throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dismantle's waist but Dismantle gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Williams off to one side. Dismantle throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Williams on the side of the head. Williams fails with the takedown and Dismantle counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Dismantle explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Mickey Dismantle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jaxon Williams. Dismantle connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Williams's hands. Williams has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Williams looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dismantle is fending him off so far but Williams persists. Nope, Dismantle circles away and we're back to standing. Dismantle scores with a three punch combo!

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Dismantle creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Jaxon Williams has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! And that's the end of the fight! Mickey Dismantle showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dismantle, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
