The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guard dodges the punch combination from Medza.
Guard let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Guard throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Medza.
A punch lands to the side of Medza 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Medza swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Medza waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Guard.
A left lands for Guard.
It looks like Thierry Medza has been cut.
A telegraphed right hand from Medza misses the target.
Medza misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Guard scores with a body shot.
Medza walks into a straight right hand from Guard.
Guard lands a jab to the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Medza closes the distance and clinches.
Guard lands with a left to the head.
Medza is rocked!
Guard lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Medza to his knees! Guard keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
