Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jose Luis Montoya Rivera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sol Goldstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Goldstein has chosen Nothing to Prove by H2O as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montoya Rivera takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Goldstein looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Goldstein wants to pass to mount but Montoya Rivera is defending the position.
Montoya Rivera pushes Goldstein off looking to stand but Goldstein dives back in and keeps control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Goldstein moves into full mount! Montoya Rivera won't be happy about that!
Goldstein looking to control but Montoya Rivera is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Montoya Rivera really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Goldstein throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Montoya Rivera is desperately trying to improve his position but Goldstein has a good base and remains in mount.

Goldstein working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Montoya Rivera turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Goldstein off and cradles Montoya Rivera's limp body as Goldstein celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Sol Goldstein!
