Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Darren Newton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Daniel Yergin!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yergin darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Newton really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Newton definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Yergin working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Yergin working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Yergin frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Yergin cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Yergin lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Newton is rocked!
It looks like Darren Newton has been cut.

Yergin postures up and throws a big right hand. BOOM! Right on the button! Newton is out cold - huge knockout for Yergin!
