Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lorenzo Baetens (ranked 25523 p4p, 3387 weight class) and Toad Hopper (ranked 268 p4p, 202 weight class). Lorenzo Baetens has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lorenzo Baetens! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Toad Hopper! The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Atkins and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hopper darts in looking for a takedown but Baetens gets double underhooks and turns Hopper into the cage. Hopper circles away from the clinch attempt.
Hopper with the counter takedown but Baetens avoids it easily. Baetens is looking to clinch but Hopper is avoiding it.
Baetens throws a head kick that misses. Baetens stuffs the takedown attempt from Hopper. Hopper gets slowly back to his feet. Baetens went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Baetens throws a right and a left that both miss. Hopper looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Hopper trying to control the position from guard on top but Baetens is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hopper content to stall in guard here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. It looks like Hopper might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hopper lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Hopper postures up.
Hopper distracts Baetens with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Hopper preventing the sweep. Hopper lands a couple of elbows. Hopper throws a big right hand that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Baetens looking to control.
Baetens manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hopper manages to get himself to full guard.
Baetens got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hopper has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Baetens has managed to get both his arms back between Hopper's legs - danger averted. Baetens has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Hopper has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Baetens should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Hopper has tightened it up now! Baetens should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Toad Hopper! A relieved looking Toad Hopper thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
