Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Righty Rivers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Conor McGregor!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Ivan Kurochkin and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivers doesn't manage to clinch there - McGregor circles away.
Rivers throws a sloppy head kick and McGregor moves out of range easily.
Rivers tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Rivers closes the distance and pushes McGregor back into the cage.
McGregor is looking to break free of the clinch but Rivers has double underhooks.
Rivers lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of McGregor backwards.
McGregor pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Rivers fails with an attempt to clinch.
A head kick by Rivers misses
and McGregor cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
McGregor lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by McGregor.
It looks like Righty Rivers has been cut.
McGregor drives through and clinches with Rivers against the cage.
Rivers misses with a punch on the inside.
McGregor pulls guard successfully.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
McGregor pulls Rivers in close to prevent any damage.
McGregor is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's one minute gone in the round.
McGregor has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Rivers off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Rivers misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rivers tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Righty Rivers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rivers avoids the head kick by McGregor.
Rivers throws a lazy body kick
and McGregor counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by McGregor.
Rivers is trying to control the position but McGregor postures up.
McGregor stands up and waves to Rivers to follow him.
Rivers tries to close the distance and clinch but McGregor swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McGregor has hold of one of Rivers's legs. Rivers is fighting the takedown attempt but McGregor gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Rivers is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and McGregor dives into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McGregor decides to take the fight back to the feet.
McGregor takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Rivers connects with a high kick.
Rivers scores with a head kick. McGregor tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
McGregor drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
McGregor advances to mount.
McGregor looking to control but Rivers is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
McGregor looking to control and managing it successfully.
Rivers wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
McGregor is landing with strikes. Rivers can't take much more of this.
McGregor controls the position.
McGregor is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Rivers is tapping out! This one is all over!
