Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sherpov Gelovkin (ranked 2815 p4p, 3994 weight class) and Gavyn Mcintyre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Gavyn Mcintyre was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gelovkin shoots in and bounces Mcintyre off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Gelovkin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gelovkin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Mcintyre is looking for a triangle but Gelovkin pushes his legs off easily.
Gelovkin drops back looking for a leg! Mcintyre is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mcintyre manages to kick Gelovkin off! Gelovkin jumps back into Mcintyre's guard.
Gelovkin is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Mcintyre is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Mcintyre has escaped and now he's on top!
Mcintyre throwing strikes from guard but Gelovkin blocks nicely.
Gelovkin seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gelovkin has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Mcintyre doesn't defend quickly enough and Gelovkin has managed to lock this one up! Can Mcintyre escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Gelovkin on a fantastic submission victory.
