Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Jake Everett (ranked 4355 p4p, 4292 weight class) and Butch Wang (ranked 348 p4p, 336 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jake Everett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Butch Wang!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wang misses with a jab, cross combination.
It looked like Everett wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Everett is looking to clinch but Wang is avoiding it.

Everett keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Wang.
Everett wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Wang throws an overhand right that lands on Everett's shoulder, as Everett tries to avoid the shot.

Wang's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Everett connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Wang scrambles back to his feet.

Everett scores with a hook to the body. Wang takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Everett ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wang moves away.

Butch Wang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wang tries to score with a low kick but Everett moves his leg out of the way.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Everett crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Wang - the referee stops the clock and Everett gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Wang. Everett manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
