Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Gunnar Murphy (ranked 2757 p4p, 1086 weight class) and Phoenix Peterson (ranked 322 p4p, 143 weight class). Peterson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bulls On Parade- Rage Against the Machine. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gunnar Murphy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Phoenix Peterson!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Wagner Zegers and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Murphy looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Phoenix Peterson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Peterson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Peterson attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Peterson throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Murphy scores a flash knockdown with a right hook that drops Peterson to his hands and knees! The ref pushes Murphy away as he looks to land an illegal blow. Peterson got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Can he survive?!
It looks like Phoenix Peterson has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Peterson throws a lazy uppercut
and Murphy counters with a big uppercut that nearly lifts Peterson off his feet! Peterson crashes to the mat in all kinds of trouble! The referee starts the count but I'm not sure it's necessary - Peterson isn't going to make it! The count reaches 10 and this fight is all over! Murphy screams and throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmmm spit, everywhere. Lovely.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Gunnar Murphy!
Gunnar Murphy decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
