PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mikey Lopez (ranked 3786 p4p, 2672 weight class) and Aydan Brewer (ranked 424 p4p, 296 weight class). Brewer is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Atmosphere - Trying to Find a Balance. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopez looks for the body kick but Brewer saw that one coming.

Brewer jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lopez walks away with a smile on his face. Brewer gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Brewer is on top in guard.

Aydan Brewer decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
