Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Corbin Good (ranked 25492 p4p, 3386 weight class) and Phishiji Zamu (ranked 507 p4p, 386 weight class). Good comes to the cage accompanied by Good Times, Bad Times - Led Zeppelin. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Corbin Good!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Phishiji Zamu!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Phil Schofield and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Zamu misses the target.
Good tries to counter by clinching up but Zamu breaks away and moves out of range.
Nice jab there from Zamu.

Zamu tries to sprawl but Good drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Good in particular looking to stall.
Zamu looks like he's trying to stand up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Good is controlling the pace.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Zamu is looking to escape.
Good looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Zamu wants to stand back up but Good manages to pass into side control.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Good scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Zamu to see if he's OK.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Zamu can do anything to dispel that myth.
A lull in the action here as Good stalls from top position.
Zamu pushes Good away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Good gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Zamu defending against the ground and pound.
Good prevents Zamu from escaping the position.
Good is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Good misses the body punch
and Zamu counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Corbin Good has been cut.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Good misses with a takedown attempt
and Zamu connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Zamu connects with a jab.
Good walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Good doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Zamu throws a hook but Good blocks it.
Good will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
A nice side step and Zamu releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
A punch lands to the side of Good 's head but he takes it in his stride.
A combination from Good does no damage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Good takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Good misses with a body shot
and Zamu counters with a nice uppercut.
Zamu is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Zamu lands with a nice body punch.
Good throws a left and a right that both miss
and Zamu counters with a stiff right hand.
Zamu throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Zamu lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Zamu throws a body punch but Good moves out of range.
A swing and a miss from Zamu.
Good tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Zamu manages to circle out of the way.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Phishiji Zamu dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Corbin Good's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Zamu lands a head shot.
Good takes one on the button.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Zamu. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Good takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Good misses with a double jab
and Zamu counters with a nice uppercut.

Corbin Good's cut is getting worse.
Good throws a lazy right hand but Zamu sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Good tries to clinch up but Zamu circles away and keeps his distance.
Zamu dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The crowd cheers as Zamu lands an impressive looking overhand right. Good doesn't seem phased though.
Zamu jabs Good to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Phishiji Zamu seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Good wants to clinch but Zamu slips to the side
and Zamu counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Good takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Zamu scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Zamu ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Zamu tests Good's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Zamu bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Good's head backwards.

Corbin Good's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Zamu connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Zamu clobbers Good with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Zamu connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Zamu has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Zamu scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Zamu changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Zamu with a nice cross.

Jeez, Corbin Good's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Corbin Good is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Zamu cracks Good with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Zamu has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Good to stand back up!

Good is rocked!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Corbin Good's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Phishiji Zamu!
In defeat, Corbin Good stepped up to the mic, saying 'Corbin Good wanders up to the interviewer and softly says "damn" into the mic.'.
