Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, RJ Bezy!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poirier looks to land a combination but Bezy avoids it well.
Bezy ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Poirier moves away.
Poirier lands a left and a right that send Bezy crashing to the mat, dazed. Poirier thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like RJ Bezy has been cut.
Poirier scores with a nice head shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bezy shoots in looking for a takedown but Poirier manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bezy's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Poirier fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Poirier cracks Bezy with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Poirier has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Bezy to stand back up!
Bezy is rocked!
Poirier will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bezy is still on wobbly legs! Can Poirier finish him?
Bezy tries to get into range but Poirier steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Bezy! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Poirier scores the big KO victory!
