Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wei Yu Bin (ranked 3858 p4p, 3839 weight class) and Merab Murkovitch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Wei Yu Bin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Merab Murkovitch! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Viktor Lagutenko and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yu Bin closes the distance but Murkovitch moves to the side and Murkovitch counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Yu Bin manages to escape and get back to his feet! No luck with that takedown attempt from Yu Bin. Murkovitch gets a double leg takedown into Yu Bin's guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Murkovitch's corner is telling him to maintain position. Yu Bin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Murkovitch on the ground. Murkovitch advances position into side control! Murkovitch tries to advance to mount but can't. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Murkovitch working the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Murkovitch is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Yu Bin knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Yu Bin trying to remain calm as Murkovitch controls from the top position. Yu Bin can't do much from the bottom here. Murkovitch is putting a hurting on Yu Bin here, landing some big shots from side control. Yu Bin is trying to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Murkovitch moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. It looks like Murkovitch might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Let's hope that Murkovitch has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Murkovitch scoring with punches and elbows. Murkovitch working the head with strikes. Murkovitch has knee on belly and moves into mount. Yu Bin has given up his back here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Murkovitch working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Yu Bin is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Murkovitch has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Yu Bin taps out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Merab Murkovitch! Merab Murkovitch bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
