The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guerra fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Guerra fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mferi, pushing him back against the cage.
I was talking to Mferi's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Mferi manages to break the clinch.
Guerra tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Mferi manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Mferi slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
A big right from Mferi misses.

and Mferi counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Mferi cracks Guerra with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Mferi drops Guerra with a naaaaasty hook - Guerra is in real trouble here! Mferi dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
