Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Righty Rivers (ranked 4244 p4p, 25205 weight class) and Usaa Mera (ranked 337 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Righty Rivers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Usaa Mera!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivers throws out a loose jab but Mera uses good head movement to avoid it.

Mera changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Mera closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Rivers's guard.

Mera shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Rivers's guard.

Rivers is working an open guard so Mera takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

That was a close second round but I would say that Righty Rivers will probably get the nod.
