And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Culligan Waterman!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Vladimir Khabensky and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Waterman tries to clinch but Moyer is having none of it.
It looked like Moyer wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Moyer looks to score with a jab to the body but Waterman is just out of range.
Moyer shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Moyer content to control rather than advance.
Waterman is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Waterman wants to control but Moyer passes into side.
Moyer scores with punches from side control.
Moyer has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Waterman is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Moyer yanks on the arm and Waterman is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Moyer.
