Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jordan Jacobs (ranked 4036 p4p, 2860 weight class) and Jun Romero (ranked 417 p4p, 332 weight class). Jacobs comes to the cage accompanied by Pressure-Rushy. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Jun Romero enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jordan Jacobs!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jun Romero!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Steven Brown and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobs connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Romero momentarily.

Romero shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jacobs's guard.

It looks like Romero might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Romero is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Jacobs's shoulder. That is not cool.
Jacobs is pushing Romero's head away, looking to escape. Romero manages to hold on to the position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jacobs lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Romero tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jacobs swivels and escapes.
