Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Lassiter (ranked 3054 p4p, 4682 weight class) and Malaki Solis (ranked 347 p4p, 447 weight class). Solis has chosen VtM Redemption OST - Redemption Theme Modern as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Solis is defended easily by Lassiter.
Solis fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Lassiter on the side of the head.
Solis shoots in looking for a takedown but Lassiter manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Solis's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Lassiter shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Solis's guard.

Lassiter has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
