The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oosthuizen looks to score with a jab to the body but Hammond is just out of range.
Oosthuizen forces Hammond back against the cage and clinches.

Hammond jumps guard but Oosthuizen stands there with Hammond around his waist. Hammond gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Whack! Oosthuizen lands a heavy head kick that drops Hammond. The ref tackles Oosthuizen to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Hammond was done.

During a confident post fight interview, Francis Oosthuizen thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
Tyler Hammond spoke after the fight, saying 'I am going to go cry for a couple days and get back to the drawing board after that.'.
