Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Carlitos Sy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bjorn Smackdown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Sy might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to the power. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Carlitos Sy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sy misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Smackdown uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Sy has time to react.
It looks like Carlitos Sy has been cut.
Sy avoids a punch combination nicely.
Sy tries for a takedown but Smackdown sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Sy has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Smackdown finds it's way round the side to connect with Sy's head.
Sy stalks Smackdown and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Smackdown's face. Smackdown staggers backwards, shaken.
Smackdown keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carlitos Sy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sy uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Smackdown.
Sy turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Smackdown swings for the body but Sy moves out of range.
Sy walks straight into a right hand from Smackdown - that's dropped him! Smackdown jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Sy from any more punishment! Sy complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Bjorn Smackdown!
