And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Elix Juarez!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hutchinson misses with a double jab.
Juarez fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
An attempted straight right counter from Hutchinson misses the target.
Hutchinson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Soul Supremacy Rio in the buildup to the fight.
Hutchinson throws out a loose jab but Juarez uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hutchinson misses with an uppercut.
Juarez drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Hutchinson defends it well.
Hutchinson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Juarez circles away quickly and effectively.
No luck for Juarez with that takedown attempt.
Jamison Hutchinson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Juarez fails with the takedown
and Hutchinson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Juarez seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Hutchinson is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
