Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alex Newman (ranked 3455 p4p, 3504 weight class) and Bill Nye (ranked 380 p4p, 386 weight class). Newman comes to the cage accompanied by Enter Sandman. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Newman is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Newman throws a left and a right that both miss
and Nye cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Newman throws a body shot but no joy.
Nye bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Nye lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Newman has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Newman and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
