Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Benn Wills (ranked 3666 p4p, 3422 weight class) and Travis Lyons (ranked 417 p4p, 391 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Benn Wills! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Travis Lyons! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Sam Margolis and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wills lunges at Lyons with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Lyons's hand. No joy there for Wills, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lyons misses with the combination.
As Lyons looks to move away, Wills throws a big counter combo but Lyons just gets out of the way. Lyons takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
An inside leg kick lands from Wills. Wills fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Lyons has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Wills fails to land with a series of punches.
Wills swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lyons lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Lyons misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Wills.
Wills swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Wills fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Lyons on the wrong end of a nice jab. Benn Wills seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wills slips under a jab from Lyons. Wills rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Lyons makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Wills thuds a left hand into Lyons's body. Sloppy strikes from Wills. Those never looked like landing. Lyons is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Lyons darts in looking for a takedown but Wills gets double underhooks and turns Lyons into the cage. Lyons just misses with a punch to the body.

Lyons slips under a jab from Wills. Despite the aggression on Lyons's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Lyons fails to land with a series of punches.
Wills takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Lyons closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Wills to the mat! Wills manages to get full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lyons in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Wills is trying to keep Lyons in close.
Lyons is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Wills can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Lyons controls the pace. Wills working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Lyons. Lyons is in close to Wills's body, working some short punches and elbows.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wills controls Lyons momentarily but Lyons frees himself. Lyons pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Wills is keeping the position for now. Wills on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Wills tries to get out of the position. Lyons working some strikes from top position. Lyons stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wills swivels though and keeps the full guard. Lyons chips away with some ground and pound. Lyons scoring with punches to the head and body. Lyons scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Wills looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Wills trying to control the position.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lyons accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Wills displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lyons. Lyons gets the takedown into side control. Wills is trying to control Lyons's posture but Lyons avoids it. Lyons fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Lyons is looking to take a break and control but Wills is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Lyons has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Lyons working the head and body with strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lyons working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Lyons in side control lands a decent elbow. Lyons scores with a couple of short elbows. Wills is not content to let Lyons control the position. Lyons works to advance to full mount. Wills defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Wills wants to control but Lyons is having none of it. Lyons lands a nice shot to the head. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Travis Lyons will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! Wills's jab looks to have found its range, popping Lyons under the eye. Wills takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Wills closes the distance and lands a one-two. Lyons scores with a three punch combo!
Wills shoots in looking for a takedown but Lyons manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Wills's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. A little jabbing left from Lyons on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Wills lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Lyons misses with a lunging right hand
and Wills counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Lyons down! Wills is looking to finish but Lyons is intelligently defending himself.
Lyons is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Wills looking to pass the guard. Wills being controlled here momentarily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lyons is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Lyons trying to control the action but Wills is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lyons is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Lyons lands with a punch from half guard. Lyons is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Wills has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lyons is working away from the top position though. Lyons thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Wills's head. Lyons seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Lyons connects with a nice short shot to Wills's temple. Wills moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Wills working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Lyons. Lyons trying to control the position from guard on top but Wills is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. and Lyons counters with a lovely shot to the body. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lyons closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Wills's guard. Lyons is working Wills over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Lyons wants to control from the top but Wills keeps moving. Lyons lands a couple of decent looking shots. Lyons engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lyons passes easily into side control. Nice work. Wills takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Lyons is working Wills over with some ground and pound from side control. Lyons tries to advance to mount but can't. Wills knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lyons on the ground. A lull in the action here. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Travis Lyons showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round! Lyons fails to land with a series of punches.
Benn Wills has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Travis Lyons is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Wills throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Lyons feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Willss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! A nice combination there by Wills.

Benn Wills is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Lyons fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Wills sprawls well initially but Lyons persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lyons wants to control but Wills is keeping him busy. Lyons might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Wills haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Lyons not landing any meaningful shots this time. Lyons controlling the pace. Lyons slips a nice elbow through Wills's hands, connecting with Wills's forehead.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wills tries to get to full guard but Lyons has control of the leg. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Lyons looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Wills with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Wills wants to control but Lyons is keeping busy.

Lyons is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Lyons lands a couple of elbows.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Lyons's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Lyons has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Lyons throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Wills works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Lyons preventing the sweep. Lyons lands a couple of digs. Lyons working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Lyons lands a body shot.
Lyons closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Wills tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Lyons is landing with strikes from the back. Lyons lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Wills.
That's three minutes gone in the round. What can Wills do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Wills is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Lyons scores with punches to the body. Lyons gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes. Lyons tries to get the hooks in deep but Wills pushed the leg off. Wills is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Lyons is looking to finish with some ground and pound! The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Lyons's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
And that's the end of the fight! Travis Lyons comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Lyons winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
