Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucjan Bartosik (ranked 2344 p4p, 2377 weight class) and Jun Jun Li (ranked 284 p4p, 292 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jun Jun Li was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lucjan Bartosik! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jun Jun Li! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, William Gold and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bartosik connects with a body shot that sends Li's belly button to the back. Li on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Bartosik looks to throw the jab but Li is out of range. Bartosik misses with an uppercut
and Li counters with a nice double leg into guard. Bartosik trying to keep a closed guard but Li is proving a slippery customer.
Li working some strikes from top position. Li lands a couple of decent looking shots. Bartosik not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Li stops Bartosik from standing up. Li controls from within his opponent's guard. Li is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Bartosik looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Li works over Bartosik with some ground and pound from guard.
It looks like Lucjan Bartosik has been cut. Li lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Lucjan Bartosik's cut is getting worse. Bartosik is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Li is controlling him. Li with a nice head shot there. Bartosik looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Li forces his way into half guard. Li performing his best blanket impression for a moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Li lands strikes from half guard. Li has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Bartosik tries to kick Li off but Li keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Bartosik is looking to control Li's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bartosik avoid being mounted? Li lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Lucjan Bartosik's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Bartosik trying to control but Li postures up.
Li seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Bartosik is trying to control but can't.
Bartosik on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Li performing his best blanket impression for a moment. It looks like Li might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Bartosik knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Li on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Li connects with a nice short shot to Bartosik's temple.
Jeez, Lucjan Bartosik's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Lucjan Bartosik's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Jun Jun Li! Jun Jun Li is the new heavyweight champion! A victorious Jun Jun Li thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter.
