Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ron Arlowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and MIKE SILVA (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ron Arlowski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, MIKE SILVA! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Arlowski connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. SILVA keeps the fight on the outside. Arlowski displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from SILVA. Arlowski moves in looking to clinch but SILVA pushes him off. A solid leg kick lands there for Arlowski.
SILVA avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Arlowski. A chopping leg kick lands by Arlowski. Arlowski throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. SILVA takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Arlowski misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Arlowski tries to close the distance and clinch up but SILVA swats him away and circles back towards the center. SILVA throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's one minute gone in the round. SILVA keeps the fight on the outside. SILVA walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Arlowski circles away from the clinch attempt.
A clash of legs there as SILVA blocks the low kick. Ron Arlowski is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Arlowski takes the fight into the clinch. SILVA tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Arlowski smiles and moves away.
SILVA shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Arlowski as he avoids it easily. Ron Arlowski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of MIKE SILVA. Arlowski throws a head kick that misses. Arlowski closes the distance looking to clinch and SILVA counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Arlowski working for a triangle but SILVA defends it easily.
SILVA trying to control the position from guard on top but Arlowski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. SILVA got a little sloppy there for a moment and Arlowski has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, SILVA has managed to get both his arms back between Arlowski's legs - danger averted. SILVA controlling from the top position. Arlowski trying to control the position.
Arlowski is really struggling to control SILVA but he's trying to hold on to the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. SILVA is stalling in the full guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Arlowski is trying to keep SILVA in close.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Arlowski looks to land a right hand but SILVA moved out of range. Arlowski closes the distance but SILVA moves to the side and SILVA counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Arlowski! Arlowski prevents SILVA from taking his back. Arlowski is trying desperately to improve position. Arlowski tries to control SILVA's body but SILVA pushes him off. Arlowski squirms to his side and now SILVA has his back! You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Arlowski wants to escape the position.
Arlowski is working hard here to advance position. Arlowski is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
SILVA avoiding Arlowski 's attempts to control his hands. SILVA is riding his opponent, not letting Arlowski buck him off. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Arlowski tries to break free.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but MIKE SILVA will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Arlowski darts in trying to clinch and SILVA counters with a nice body kick. Arlowski tries to clinch but fails miserably and SILVA counters with a shoot takedown. Arlowski fights it but they end up in guard. SILVA sitting in guard, not really doing much. Arlowski controls SILVA momentarily but SILVA frees himself. Arlowski looking for submissions from the bottom but instead SILVA passes into side control.
Arlowski tries to get back to half guard but can't. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Despite being in the dominant position, MIKE SILVA just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Arlowski clinches but SILVA breaks the clinch so SILVA counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. SILVA showing good wrestling skills to control the position. SILVA gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. SILVA throws a sloppy head kick and Arlowski counters with a slapping leg kick. Arlowski leaves SILVA with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. SILVA circles away from the clinch attempt and SILVA counters with a single leg into guard. Arlowski didn't expect that.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Arlowski controls SILVA momentarily but SILVA frees himself. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Arlowski has his foot on SILVA's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. SILVA works his way back into a safe position though. SILVA sitting in guard here, content to control. SILVA trying to control the position from guard on top but Arlowski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Arlowski's guard. SILVA is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! SILVA takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Arlowski is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. SILVA controlling the position easily from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
MIKE SILVA showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

SILVA fails with the takedown and Arlowski makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Ron Arlowski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A head kick by Arlowski misses and SILVA counters with a single leg into guard. Arlowski didn't expect that. Both fighters are breathing heavily. SILVA slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Arlowski looking to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. SILVA is looking to stand up but Arlowski won't let him. Arlowski is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Arlowski looking to hit a scissor sweep but SILVA is one step ahead there. Arlowski working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. SILVA doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. SILVA manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. SILVA shoots for a double leg takedown but Arlowski sprawls well. He's pushed SILVA's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Arlowski misses with a leg kick and SILVA counters with a head kick. SILVA closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. SILVA passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Arlowski! SILVA tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

SILVA stacks Arlowski on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by SILVA! Ron Arlowski has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! SILVA controls the position. MIKE SILVA is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
And that's the end of the fight! MIKE SILVA comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got SILVA winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
