Van Kerckhoven comes to the cage accompanied by Neo Cortex - Elements (Daniel Cain Remix). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A shot to the body from Kemppainen misses
and Van Kerckhoven finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Van Kerckhoven takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Kemppainen wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Kemppainen looks to land a body kick but Van Kerckhoven moved away.
Van Kerckhoven appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Van Kerckhoven throws the kick towards the body but Kemppainen avoids it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Van Kerckhoven feints and then cracks Kemppainen's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kemppainen down.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kemppainen lands a big head kick that sends Van Kerckhoven to the canvas! Kemppainen follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
