Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marques Roy (ranked 304 p4p, 1334 weight class) and Fishbone Jones (ranked 45 p4p, 170 weight class). Marques Roy has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Fishbone Jones!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Dmitry Maklakov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Roy jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jones walks away with a smile on his face. Roy gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Roy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jones's waist but Jones gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Roy off to one side.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jones has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Roy is on him like a limpet, forcing Jones back against the cage.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Roy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jones tries to avoid it but Roy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Jones counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Roy out cold! What a finish! Jones is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!

Fishbone Jones really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Ma Balls Is Hot Clothing logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
