The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Vladimir Khabensky and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lampiaun moves in looking to clinch but Drummond pushes him off.
Drummond throws out a loose jab but Lampiaun uses good head movement to avoid it.
Virgulino Lampiaun seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lampiaun scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Drummond wants to control but Lampiaun is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Drummond makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Drummond.
Drummond keeping moving, preventing Lampiaun from controlling successfully.
Drummond working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lampiaun doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lampiaun manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Drummond looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Drummond had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Lampiaun defends it easily.
Lampiaun content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Lampiaun stands up over Drummond, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
It looks like Deebo Drummond has been cut.

Lampiaun connects with a couple of short punches.
Lampiaun throwing strikes but missing.
Lampiaun has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Drummond to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Lampiaun is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Drummond pulls down on the head and he's put Lampiaun to sleep! This one is all over!
