Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Juan David Franco (ranked 3399 p4p, 24140 weight class) and Dwight Shrute (ranked 388 p4p, 520 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Franco might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Bullet For My Valentine- Tears Don't Fall. Shrute has chosen Battlestart Galactica theme as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Juan David Franco!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 40 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dwight Shrute!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shrute shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Franco pinned against the cage. Franco gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Shrute tries to clinch there but Franco circles away.
Franco lands with a nice combination. Shrute backs away looking to recover.
A combination from Franco does no damage.
Shrute avoids the head kick by Franco.
Franco lands a big head kick that sends Shrute to the canvas! Franco follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Juan David Franco!
