Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nico Mcgee (ranked 4100 p4p, 4268 weight class) and Jin Devil (ranked 228 p4p, 234 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nico Mcgee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jin Devil!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcgee lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Mcgee changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Devil looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Mcgee decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Mcgee throws a series of strikes that have Devil backpedaling.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Devil is trying to get back to half guard.
Devil told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Mcgee works to advance to full mount. Devil defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Mcgee wants to lay and pray for a moment but Devil keeps working.

Mcgee is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Devil as he works his way to full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Mcgee is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Devil sees it coming and defends easily.

Mcgee avoids the attempt from Devil to control.
Mcgee scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Devil?
Devil keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Mcgee wants to control the pace but Devil is squirming around nicely.

Mcgee cracks Devil with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Devil tries to lock up and control but Mcgee gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Devil tries to break free.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Nico Mcgee dominated that round.
That's time! Mcgee's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

No joy there for Mcgee, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Devil avoids a punch combination nicely.
Mcgee misses with a wild combination.

Mcgee looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Mcgee got a little sloppy there for a moment and Devil has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mcgee has managed to get both his arms back between Devil's legs - danger averted.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Devil is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Devil shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Devil showed some decent athleticism there.
Devil wants to control but Mcgee is keeping him busy.

Devil tries to pass to full mount but Mcgee defends it.
Mcgee wants to control but Devil is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Mcgee is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Devil jumps into side control!

Devil avoids the strikes from the bottom by Mcgee.
Devil fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Devil misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

Devil tries for a kimura but Mcgee is defending well.
Devil tries to score with some ground and pound. Mcgee controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Devil is trying to ground and pound but Mcgee uses the momentary lack of control by Devil to regain half guard.
Mcgee tries to roll over but Devil keeps him under control.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Devil is trying to control the action in half guard but Mcgee is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Mcgee is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Devil has latched onto it... Big trouble! Devil pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Mcgee is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Devil!
