Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Teagan Martin (ranked 3810 p4p, 3124 weight class) and Dalton Rodgers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dalton Rodgers will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Teagan Martin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dalton Rodgers!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Donatello Bradman and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Rodgers looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Martin misses with a two punch combination.
Rodgers doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Martin on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Rodgers with a nice cross.
Rodgers changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Martin wants to clinch but Rodgers slips to the side
and Rodgers counters with a straight right hand.
Martin takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Martin pushes Rodgers up against the cage in a clinch.
Rodgers is pressed up against the cage. Martin has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Rodgers down to the mat. Rodgers avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Rodgers is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Martin tries to close the distance and clinch but Rodgers swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Martin takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Martin wants to clinch but Rodgers slips to the side
and Rodgers counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Rodgers scores with a nice strike.
Rodgers jabs at Martin's body.

Rodgers punishes Martin's body with a nice straight punch.
Martin is breathing heavily.
Martin darts in looking for a takedown but Rodgers gets double underhooks and turns Martin into the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Teagan Martin. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Rodgers lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Martin backwards.

Rodgers wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Rodgers is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Martin had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Martin takes a jab right on the kisser.
Rodgers lands a two punch combo.
Rodgers scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Rodgers lands a head shot.
Rodgers lands with a hook. Martin tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Rodgers's jab looks to have found its range, popping Martin under the eye.
Martin is rocked!
Rodgers lands an overhand right.
Oh Martin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Martin takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Martin looks up at the clock. Bad move! Rodgers lands a right hand from hell, dropping Martin. Rodgers pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dalton Rodgers!
