Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Biggy Times! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mudiwa Jones! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Times shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense. Jones throws a head kick but Times moves out of range.
Jones throws a solid leg kick but Times takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Jones. Jones scoring well with a low kick there.
Jones turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Times closes the distance and clinches up with Jones, looking for a takedown. Times pushes Jones against the cage but Jones circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Times looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jones is fending him off so far but Times persists. Nope, Jones circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Biggy Times. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jones lands a nice leg kick that just misses Times's sensitive parts. Jones lands a high kick!
It looks like Biggy Times has been cut. Times takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Times fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Mudiwa Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Times drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Times trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom. Times prevents Jones from getting back to his feet. Jones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Times. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Times wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Times trying to control the position but Jones is working away. Times stands up and beckons Jones to his feet. Jones fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Times. Jones jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Jones goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Jones stalks Times and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Times's face. Times staggers backwards, shaken. Jones throws a low kick, looking for Times's leg but Times calmly moves out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Jones tries to avoid it but Times manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Jones lands with a slapping head kick. Jones lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Jones connects with a high kick. A good leg kick by Jones. Jones thumps Times with a low kick. Times shoots in looking for a takedown. Jones tries to sprawl out of it but Times keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jones manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Jones throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Times walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Jones lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jones feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Times's calf. Jones thumps Times with a low kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mudiwa Jones dominated that round. The cut man is working on Biggy Times's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Times fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Jones throws a low kick, looking for Times's leg but Times calmly moves out of range. Times checks a leg kick. Jones getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Jones throws a leg kick but Times checks it. Times looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jones, as that shot connected.
Times shoots in but no luck this time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Biggy Times. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Times's head. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jones fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Times. Times changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jones tries to avoid it but Times manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Jones throws a sloppy head kick and Times moves out of range easily. Left hook, right uppercut from Jones.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones bucks up and tries to throw Times off but instead Times has got his back! Jones wants to get back to his feet. Times lands a shot to the body. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Times's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Mudiwa Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Biggy Times's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Times stands and steps away. Jones gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Jones lands a head kick. Times smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Jones throws a sloppy head kick and Times counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jones is looking to escape. Times wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jones keeps working. Jones is looking to escape. Jones is not content to let Times control the position. Jones tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Times manages to move to mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Times lands a heavy elbow. Times throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Jones because Times loaded up on that one. Jones wants to try and get back to his feet. Jones is squirming around, avoiding Times's attempts to control the action. Jones wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Times.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Times thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Jones is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Times controlling from the full mount. Times won't let Jones get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
And that's the end of the fight! Biggy Times showed his dominance in that final round. I think Jones has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
