Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Asher Ax (ranked 24663 p4p, 25326 weight class) and Combat Tant (ranked 347 p4p, 369 weight class). Asher Ax has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Asher Ax! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Combat Tant! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tant changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ax looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Tant working the head and body with strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ax is trying to control Tant's posture but Tant avoids it. Tant is trying to get an arm triangle but Ax is defending well. Tant working away. Tant wants to control but Ax is keeping him busy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tant looks up at the clock and then as Ax takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Tant smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Tant tries to stand but Ax is controlling his head. Ax is trying to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ax is trying to improve his position. Tant wants to stand but Ax has his arm trapped. Tant is looking to take a break and control but Ax is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Ax tries to buck Tant off but Tant is having none of it. Ax gets back to half guard. Tant is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Ax sees it coming and defends easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Ax gets full guard. Ax looking to hit a scissor sweep but Tant is one step ahead there. Tant content to stall in guard here. Ax pulls Tant in close to prevent any damage.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ax looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Ax wants to pass the guard but Tant is keeping the position. Tant wants to sweep but no luck. Tant has his hands on Ax's head, controlling the position. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Ax's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tant is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Ax cracks Tant with a solid left hand. Tant is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Ax stands up from guard. Let's bang! Tant is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Tant closes the distance and clinches up with Ax, looking for a takedown. Tant pushes Ax against the cage but Ax circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ax darts in looking for a takedown but Tant gets double underhooks and turns Ax into the cage. Tant manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Ax looking to pass the guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Combat Tant will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Tant lands with a right hand. Ax misses with a leg kick. Tant shoots in and drives through. Ax sprawls well. Ax swinging wildly here.
Despite the aggression on Tant's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Ax fails with a takedown attempt. Ax defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Tant. Ax is looking to counter the offense by Tant and move into the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tant wants to clinch up but Ax keeps it at a distance. Tant fails to land the takedown. Asher Ax has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Combat Tant. Ax fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ax doesn't manage to clinch there - Tant circles away.
Tant throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Jab, jab by Ax - just one landing. Tant shoots in for a takedown but Ax shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Tant is breathing heavily. No joy there for Ax, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Tant follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Ax throws a right and a left that Tant avoids nicely. Ax scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Ax displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Tant. Ax clinches with his opponent.
Tant is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Ax to keep the fight standing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A battle for position here, against the cage. Ax is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Tant drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
The referee calls for Ax to work.
Ax has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Tant uses from the top position. Tant prevents Ax from getting back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tant trying to control the position from guard on top but Ax is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tant forces his way into half guard. Ax is trying to stand back up but Tant is controlling him
Ax wants to get back to full guard. Ax is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Tant can do to turn this around? Tant looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Ax is trying to control but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Tant prevents Ax from improving his position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Tant closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Ax quickly recovers to half guard. Tant is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Ax doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Tant. Ax keeping control of the position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Asher Ax dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round! Ax moves in looking to clinch but Tant pushes him off. Tant wants to counter the offense by Ax and move into the clinch position. Tant misses with a wild combination.
Tant swats away the attempt to clinch by Ax. Ax tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tant sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ax somewhat. Tant drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ax is looking to get back to his feet here but Tant is keeping cool and he's managed to take Ax's back.
That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ax showing good submission defense here.
Tant misses with a punch to the head. Ax can't escape the position.
Tant throwing wild punches that miss their target. Tant is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ax tries to roll but Tant sticks to his back.
Combat Tant has got the better of the ground game so far. Ax tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Tant looking to control but Ax is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ax working to try and regain half guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ax is working hard here to advance position. Tant wants to control the pace but Ax is squirming around nicely. Ax is in a horrible position here. Tant smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Ax is looking to get to half guard. Ax trying desperately to get to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Tant with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Tant tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Ax is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Ax keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ax is squirming around, avoiding Tant's attempts to control the action.
And that's the end of the fight! Combat Tant comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Tant has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
