Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bethania Valverde (ranked 314 p4p, 379 weight class) and Li Gong (ranked 31 p4p, 35 weight class). Valverde comes to the cage accompanied by LLAMAME YA. Li Gong told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bethania Valverde!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 1, fighting out of London, Li Gong!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

That was a close round but I would say that Bethania Valverde will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Gong throws a powerful right kick. Valverde tried to block low but the kick was high! Valverde was taken right off of his feet! Gong jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Li Gong!
In his post fight interview, Li Gong started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
