Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pedro Gomez (ranked 2309 p4p, 2923 weight class) and King Kong Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 272 weight class). Gomez comes to the cage accompanied by Hotel California (Spanish Mix). Both these guys have really solid chins. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch but Gomez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jones looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Gomez ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Nice defenses there by Jones.
Jones wants to counter with a clinch but Gomez pushes him away.
Jones slips a jab from Gomez.
Gomez thows a left - swing and a miss!
Jones is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Jones ducks under a wild hook from Gomez.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Jones checks a leg kick.
Gomez lands with a right hand.
Pedro Gomez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gomez lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Jones falls backwards - clearly groggy! Gomez dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
