Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Magomed Magomedsharipov (ranked 24902 p4p, 25085 weight class) and Pablo Ramos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Magomedsharipov is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Pablo Ramos will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 36 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Magomed Magomedsharipov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pablo Ramos!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramos throws a right and a left that Magomedsharipov avoids nicely.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Ramos has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Magomedsharipov is breathing heavily.
Ramos feints a jab promting Magomedsharipov to slip. Ramos then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Magomedsharipov slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Ramos moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Ramos misses with the combination.
Magomedsharipov tries to counter with a takedown but Ramos is quick to defend against it.
Ramos looks to land a combination but Magomedsharipov avoids it well.
Ramos lands a nice leg kick that just misses Magomedsharipov's sensitive parts.

Ramos throws a nice looking combination but Magomedsharipov bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Magomedsharipov has Ramos pressed against the cage, preventing Ramos from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ramos pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Magomedsharipov takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Some wild striking there from Ramos.
Ramos scores with a one two! Magomedsharipov had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Ramos lands a left and a right that send Magomedsharipov crashing to the mat, dazed. Ramos thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Magomedsharipov is rocked!
Ramos looking to score a takedown here. Magomedsharipov is defending well but Ramos drives through and ends up in Magomedsharipov's guard.
Oh Magomedsharipov is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ramos controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Magomedsharipov is working an open guard so Ramos takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Ramos lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ramos connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Magomedsharipov tumbling to the canvas! Ramos pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Magomedsharipov was done - good stoppage!

In his post fight interview, Pablo Ramos started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
