Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sebastian Cyr (ranked 3415 p4p, 4398 weight class) and Fred Jose (ranked 385 p4p, 439 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sebastian Cyr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fred Jose! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Paul Tew and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cyr throws a series of punches but Jose moves out of range. Jose scores with a nice strike. Cyr misses with a wild combination.

and Jose counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Jose uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cyr.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cyr looks to land a combination but Jose avoids it well. Jose steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Cyr. Cyr misses with a two punch combination.

and Jose connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Jose is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Cyr throws a combination that misses and Jose counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Jose dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Cyr misses with a double jab
and Jose counters with a nice body shot. Jose gets a clinch. Jose will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Cyr up against the cage. Jose working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.

Jose is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Cyr lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jose circles away quickly and effectively. Jose might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Jose avoids a punch combination nicely.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jose scores with a shoulder strike. Fred Jose is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Jose managing to block the knees to the body from Cyr.
And that's the end of the fight! Fred Jose comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Jose has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
