Crazy Guy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horrible takedown by Guy or perhaps it was just good defense by Turner which made him look bad.
Guy swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Guy throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Turner waves his right hand out infront of him, looking to distract Guy. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Guy to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

Turner shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Turner wants to control the pace but Guy is squirming around nicely.
Turner pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Turner lands a nice short elbow.
Guy tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Turner in particular looking to stall.
Turner slips a nice elbow through Guy's hands, connecting with Guy's forehead.
Turner content to control rather than advance.
Turner lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Turner seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Guy does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

and Guy takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
