The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Snake stuffs the takedown attempt from Vieira. Vieira gets slowly back to his feet.

Snake is fighting to break Vieira's control of his arms but Vieira is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Vieira is on top in guard.

Snake had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Vieira defends it easily.
Vieira stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Snake swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Snake has his foot on Vieira's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Vieira works his way back into a safe position though.

Vieira looking to improve position, pressing down on Snake's thigh with his hand. Snake seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Vieira paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Vieira's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Snake picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
