Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 54 - 64 - 6, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rico Salvacion!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 35 - 13 - 4, fighting out of Hilo, Izzy Bangin!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bangin scores with a jab to the head.
Salvacion takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Bangin uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Salvacion has time to react.
Bangin scores with a decent looking hook.
Salvacion tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Salvacion walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Bangin bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Salvacion's head.

Salvacion darts in looking for a takedown but Bangin gets double underhooks and turns Salvacion into the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Salvacion is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Salvacion is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Bangin has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Bangin fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Salvacion has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Bangin is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Salvacion had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
