Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bingus Khan (ranked 1763 p4p, 3087 weight class) and Caulo Posta (ranked 197 p4p, 321 weight class). Bingus Khan could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Caulo Posta's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Bingus Khan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Caulo Posta! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Eddie Farnsworth and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Posta takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Posta misses with a wild combination.
Posta slips a jab from Khan. Posta closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Khan quickly recovers to half guard. Khan kicks off Posta and gets to his feet. Posta shoots in for a double leg but Khan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Khan connects with a crisp jab. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Posta shoots in looking for a takedown but Khan manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Posta's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Posta misses the jab. Caulo Posta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Posta gets a takedown into half guard. Posta trying to control from half guard but Khan is working away. Khan is trying to stand up here but Posta is controlling him well. Khan wants to control but Posta is keeping busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Posta wants to work for an arm triangle but Khan is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Posta seems to be working for a kimura but Khan defends the submission attempt. Posta is keen to just control but Khan is a slippery customer. Posta trying to work for an americana but Khan has managed to regain full guard.
Posta slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Posta looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Posta tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Posta thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Posta is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Khan is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Posta wants to control but Khan is keeping him busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Posta goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Khan has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Posta but great work by Khan. Khan decides to stand back up. Khan steps back and let's Posta get back to his feet. Khan thows a left - swing and a miss! Khan throws a right hand that Posta ducks under and follows up with a left that Posta also avoids with ease. Posta dives in and grabs Khan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Khan pushes down on Posta's head and hops out. Bingus Khan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Caulo Posta. A slow jab from Khan misses its intended target. No joy there for Posta, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Khan counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Posta thinking. Posta fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Khan to the ground. Posta is now in Khan's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Posta accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Posta tries to free his leg and advance position but Khan is retaining full guard. Posta seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Khan keeping moving, preventing Posta from controlling successfully. Posta wants to pass the guard but Khan is keeping the position. Khan wants to stand and escape but Posta is having none of it. The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Bingus Khan will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Posta fails in his attempt to clinch. Posta has closed the distance and engaged Khan in a clinch.

Posta tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Khan is able to avoid easily. Khan scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Nice defenses there by Posta. Posta is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Khan lands an overhand right. Posta fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Khan sprawls well initially but Posta persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Posta is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Khan doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Posta. Khan wants to get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Posta drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Khan dives on top into guard.
Posta is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Khan is aware though and is defending well. Khan is fighting to break Posta's control of his arms but Posta is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Posta looking for a sweep. Not yet Posta, not yet. Posta has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Khan is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Posta.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Posta tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Khan easily slips into full mount! Khan controlling his opponent. Posta bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Khan swivels though and keeps the full guard. Posta trying to control the position from guard on top but Khan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Khan has momentary wrist control but Posta slips an elbow through the middle. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Posta tries to free his leg and advance position but Khan is retaining full guard. Khan is trying to control the position but Posta postures up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Khan keeping full guard, as Posta tries to pass. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Posta shoots in but doesn't get the takedown letting Khan counter with a right hand. Khan pushes Posta up against the cage in a clinch. Khan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Posta rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Khan moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Posta tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Khan was well out of range. Poor timing from Posta. Khan was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Khan tries to keep at a distance but Posta has taken the fight into the clinch. Posta lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A nice left hand lands by Posta.

Khan looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Posta lands a shot to the body. Khan throws an elbow but it misses.
Posta tries to stall but Khan uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Khan misses with a short punch on the inside. Posta is working for takedown but Khan is calmly controlling the position for now. Bingus Khan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Caulo Posta. Posta tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Khan throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. A short right from Khan on the inside. Posta is trying to drag Khan to the mat but Khan just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Posta is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Khan gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Posta takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Khan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Khan has taken the fight to the clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Posta works on Khan's body with a couple of short punches. Nice body punch from Khan - that landed with a thud.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A jab from Khan misses. Posta tries to counter with a clinch but Khan shakes him off and moves away. Khan swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Khan lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Khan. Khan throws a lazy right hand but Posta sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Posta is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Posta lands a nice leg kick that just misses Khan's sensitive parts. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Khan just misses with a punch to the body.

Caulo Posta has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Khan is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Posta drives through and clinches with Khan against the cage.
Khan is trying to push Posta away but Posta has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Posta makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. A hook to the body from Posta.
Posta wants a takedown but no success here.
Posta prevents a body shot from Khan. Bingus Khan is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Posta is working Khan over against the cage.
And that's the end of the fight! Bingus Khan showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Khan, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Bingus Khan! A determined Bingus Khan didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it! Caulo Posta was interviewed post fight and said 'I apologize for my performance, give me another opportunity.'.
