Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Igorov Vasilev (ranked 3843 p4p, 3969 weight class) and Viktor Frost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Igorov Vasilev! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Viktor Frost! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vasilev fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Frost to the ground. Vasilev is now in Frost's guard. Vasilev seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Frost looking for a sweep. Not yet Frost, not yet. Vasilev prevents Frost from getting back to his feet. Vasilev controlling from the top position. Vasilev lands a couple of decent looking shots. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vasilev content to stall in guard here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frost is trying to hold Vasilev in close to prevent damage but Vasilev has managed to pass into half guard.
Vasilev works his way into side control. Frost tries to get back to half guard but can't. Vasilev controlling from side mount. Vasilev seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Frost for as long as he can get away with.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Vasilev has knee on belly and moves into mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Vasilev throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Vasilev with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Frost can't escape the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Frost is trying to defend against the choke here but Vasilev has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Vasilev Tightens the hold and Frost taps out furiously! Vasilev displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
